Biography
Matteo Cordero’s primary medium is painting. In his works, he creates surrealistic environments, in which he places expressive, often autobiographical, human figures, to evade contemporary society.
In 2017, Cordero exhibited a large portrait at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London curated by Eileen Cooper (RA). In 2018, he had his first solo exhibition at the Public Gallery in East London (Hackney).
In 2016, he graduated with an MA in Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Art in London.
Matteo Cordero lives and works in Turin, Italy.
